NCS

NCS (Natural Colour System) is a logical colour order system based on man’s perception of colour. With NCS, all surface colours imaginable can be described and allocated an unambiguous colour code. With the help of this colour code system, it is simple and convenient to specify and communicate colour with anyone regardless of their trade or nationality.

Johnstone’s has worked closely with NCS for many years to bring you an extensive collection selected from the NCS range of colours.

Use our unique colour wheel below to find your ideal selection of colours. When you have chosen a colour, click “store” to save it in the colour the colour palette below. After selecting and saving all your colours, you can print a copy of your swatches and colour references to input into your project documentation. The range of NCS colours are also featured in a printed fan deck and include Light Reflectance Values for each colour. To request a copy, see red box opposite.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match and the colour appearing on screen should not be relied on as being such. Johnstone's would like to recommend that a testerpot is used to give you a better idea of the actual colour before you commit to a colour purchase.
