Johnstone's Intumescent Basecoat is a thin film intumescent coating for application on timber and timber faced boards and it conforms to BS 476 part 6 and 7 and as such provides Class 1 and Class 0 fire ratings. This product is a base coat for the system and is as such over coated by Johnstone's Flame Retardant products
