What's the Meaning of Colour

Colour can dramatically affect the look and feel of a room, so it is important to make the right choice.

Certain colours evoke certain moods and feelings. By careful selection, designers can use colour to subtly influence moods. The warm side of the spectrum provides happy lively colours - reds, oranges and yellows - whilst the cool sides gives us calming colours - greens, blues and purples.

Red

Orange
Bold, friendly and cheerful. Often used in leisure pursuits.
Yellow
Brightness, energy and optimism. Often used to brighten an area lacking in natural light.
Green
